TEACHER CHARGED IN RICHLAND COUNTY

A teacher at W.J. Keenan High School has been arrested for inappropriately touching a student.

William Carson (DOB: 1/5/1959) was charged with assault and battery 2nd degree.

On Monday, Mar. 9, a 16-year-old female student at Keenan High School reported that she told Carson she wasn’t feeling well and that her stomach hurt. She said Mr. Carson asked her to come to his room where he touched her stomach and put his hand down her pants. The student reported the incident to a teacher and then to the school resource officer.

Carson was arrested on Saturday, Mar. 14 and charged with assault and battery 2nd degree. He was taken to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

    HE LOOKS LIKE A PEDOPHILE. I believe he did it. Sick son of a slop bucket…
    I pray this young person recovers from this tragedy.
